Removing scratches from an acrylic crystal

Polywatch is a mildly abrasive polishing cream designed to restore plastic and plexiglass watch crystals. It reduces shallow scuffs and micro scratches and brings back the crystal's shine. The 5 g tube comes with 20 microfibre cloths so you can use it straight away.

Which watches?

Polywatch works on all acrylic crystals: Swatch, many vintage models from major brands fitted with plexiglass, pocket watches, alarm clocks and clocks. It is also suitable for other plastic or plexiglass items.

How to use

• Clean the surface to be polished with a clean cloth.
• Put a little Polywatch on the crystal.
• Polish the scratched area with one of the supplied microfibre cloths, applying pressure.
• Wipe, check the result and repeat if necessary.

Precautions

• Plastic or plexiglass only: not effective on mineral or sapphire crystals.
• Do not apply on cracks or breaks, nor on printed markings.
• A deep scratch needs several treatments and may not disappear completely.
