A date magnifier, or cyclops lens, is a lens glued onto the watch crystal above the date window. Its rectangular shape follows the outline of many date windows and enlarges the date for quick reading. This model is available in 10 sizes, from 3.5 × 4.3 mm to 6.2 × 8.3 mm; all sizes are listed in the table on this page.

Clean and degrease the crystal and the lens. Apply a tiny drop of crystal glue, such as GS Hypo Cement, to the contact face, position the lens straight above the date window, then let it dry without touching it. Excess glue may show once dry, so use too little rather than too much.
