Domed Mineral Crystals

The domed mineral crystal

A domed crystal curves continuously from the centre to the edge. It gives depth to the dial and is found on many classic watches. This category includes 6 products, or 609 diameters from 14 to 50 mm, between €5.90 and €11.90 inc. VAT.

• Domed 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm: thin versions, with the widest choice of diameters.
• Domed 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm: thicker versions, from 18 mm.
• Domed 0.8 mm anti-reflective (30.2 mm) and 1.0 mm anti-reflective (39.9 mm): a single diameter each.

To select the right product, check in profile that the curve really starts at the edge: if a flat rim appears before the dome, look instead at the domed crystals with base. Then measure the thickness on the edge, followed by the diameter at the base of the crystal.

Our guide explains how to go about measuring a crystal with a calliper. To check the material of the crystal to be replaced, the page on crystal types sets out the differences between mineral, sapphire and acrylic.
