This I-ring crystal gasket is a ring made of Hytrel, a flexible and durable engineering polymer, fitted between the crystal and the bezel or case. It seals the assembly and holds the crystal once it has been pressed in. The 0.70 mm height sits between the two most common values: it is useful when a 0.60 mm gasket is too short for the crystal edge and a 0.80 mm one stands proud.

How do you know 0.70 mm is the right height?

The gasket should cover the crystal edge without rising above the bezel. Fitting the gasket properly
