Previous step: Step 1 - Remove a watch gasket
At this stage you've opened the case and removed the old gasket. With your antistatic tweezers you'll now handle the new gasket (find a fresh watch gasket in our category) and grease it with silicone gasket grease. To order the right size, see our Measure a watch gasket guide.
Step 2: Lubricate the new gasket
Step 1
With the right-size new gasket in hand, it's time to fit it. Open the Lubrijoint case.

Step 2
Using the tweezers, gently place the new gasket in the centre of the Lubrijoint, on the oiled foam.

Step 3
Close the Lubrijoint lid and rotate one full turn to coat the gasket evenly.

Step 4
The gasket is now properly greased. Handle it with the tweezers and close the Lubrijoint.

Next step: Step 3 - Refit the watch gasket
